If you click on my name in this post (or anyone's name) you will see the "experience" levels of each member on this site.
Certain awards are for certain things on the site. They are given out automatically. Some for posting threads, some for "thanks", and one for other things.
Its a way to display your usage of the site..
Also, in the menu bar with your account settings, click the "Experience" link..... This is the total of all the items..
Certain site activity is given points... Then those points are totalled to determine things.
Points aren't to be confused with Buckz.. :D
