    What is the core mission for this message board?

    Is it Bears foorball? Fantasty football? Rival smack talk? A computer game arcade? The v-bookie? The rest of the NFL? Computer tech issues? Computer graphics? Show and tell about the members? Giving each other internet ego-boosting awards for pithy posting? Other sports all together?

    That's the question you all need to answer. Whatever you add after establishing your core mission and pursuing that goal is up to you. But if you don't pay close attention to the core mission and give it priority, that mission either won't be accomplished, or won't be accomplished well.

    End of story.

    We agree as well. The purpose of the site are the Chicago Bears.

    What usually drives the need for splitting forums, and creating a new forum for a certain topic? Usually when you have a continuous flow of similar topics of discussion, you want to cut down on it over taking other discussions. So you split it etc.

    It's great to have the site 100% Chicao Bears related, however what has made this site popular are the warm features, and things to do to occupy your day.

    A LOT of sites have tried to just have a message board or are strictly for Bears football. Most sites have died using this concept. We however have created a different approach. Now we are adapting it, but as we grow, we alter our site, and layout.

    I would probably call DaBearz.com a Chicago Bears community. With all the different things going on, and they mostly seem to be rallied around football or the Chicago Bears.

    Let's face it, there's only so much Bears football that you can discuss.

    Chicago Bears, is the common thing that people use to get to know each other. So after that, what's left to discuss or do? That's were the other features come in.

    It's just a fun place all around, but the main focus is Chicago Bears football. Honestly, we love feedback.

    We will discuss the issues you have raised, and change things as we see fit.

    Isn't the mission to bring Bear and football fans together?? It seems to be doing a good job buddy, its one of the best fan sites around! and I don't know which sites you've moderated on but this site is going to be around for a long time to come!

    I hate to say it and don't mean to be a pain but can someone update the win loss on the fron page? the bears still show as 10-2 and it confuses me after about a 12 pack or so

    Suggestion

    A forum dedicated to gaming? Primarily Madden Football.

    I guess there are other avenues out there for this though with a site that has everything else covered for Chicago Bears fans, IMO this would be a welcomed addition.
