I have tried to PM Loki to get access. When I do, it tells me I do not have the privilege of that function. How do I get access to PM and can I get the password for the bar scene forum?

You need to reach a certain post limit before you can send PMs, and need at least 100 posts before being granted access to The Bar Scene

That is correct.
You must have at least 100 posts in the regular forums before we grant access to The Bar Scene (TBS) based on your individual request.
However, if you can get a regular member of this board to vouch for you, I'll grant access immediately.
For any, and all, new members who desire access - The Bar Scene has it's own Terms Of Service (TOS). The general TOS for the board still applies (no porn, no racism), but some of the restrictions on sock-puppets and language has been lifted. Not only is vulgarity allowed in TBS, it is graded. Likewise, there is a good amount of heated debate of political and cultural matters which can, and often does, lead to flaming (it's not common, but it does occur). This type of thing is tolerated, even encouraged, in TBS. But ONLY in TBS. These things are not allowed outside of TBS, including the general football forums and are grounds for warnings, infractions and even bannings.
Be advised, I am NOT kidding about the vulgarity and flaming. If you do not desire to participate, or even see, stuff like that... it is best left alone. People with thin-skin have entered before only to find themselves on the losing end of a heated debate. If this occurs to you, complaining to the staff is not going to get you anywhere. You have been warned. Anyone requesting access will be warned again.
The idea behind the TBS is to give people access to forums where they can let their hair down while not excluding any non-sports related topics. Most people in TBS love the forums, and a good time is had by all. If you are overly-defensive, or sensitive to insults, it may not be the place for you.

Also... trolls and kids are easily snaked out, dressed down, morally crushed and left intellectually bankrupt before they're reported to staff members for appropriate action (and a tissue).
