Hmm discuss, I think it was to give us all something to bitch about...why did we sign him? Played for Redskins past few years

WR depth. Could compete with Hixon and Wilson at #3 WR or could end up #4 WR. Also in mix for kick returner as well.

Another good signing by Emery. Low risk high reward. He put up pretty good numbers for SF and his 1st year in Washington.

I'm all for being proactive and casting a wide net. There could be some surprises when you get to camp. If they fall out, no harm - no foul.

Just one more inexpensive vet #4 WR type who can also return kicks. He's only 28 so he's pretty much in his prime right now. I have no problem with us signing any WR who make it possible to avoid drafting one. We need as many picks as possible to go towards defensive starters and depth.

He's just one more guy in there to compete for a spot and if he doesn't succeed he costs us nothing expect a small bonus if we even offered him one. We're just renting these guys for camp. We don't have to own them until the final roster is complete. He's an OK pickup but nothing special.

Glad I could help ease your troubled mind.

You can never have enough depth.

Funny, the shrinks have a completely different word for it??????? Starts with a P and it's a very long word but I'm sure it has something to do with a multiple personality disorder. That may be a good thing though. When I'm old enough to apply for SS benefits maybe I can collect on all four of us.

    Hmmm.....................
