Josh McCown graded out as the 3rd best in the NFL at +5.6 (just behind Tom Brady who was #2 this week).
Matt Slausen graded out as the 6th best in the NFL at +5.2 (tied with Nick Foles who passed for 7 TD's).

Also good news, that no Bear landed in the bottom of the grades in week 9. The only NFC-N guy who landed on the "worst" list was Green Bay's A.J. Hawk with a -5.1 grade.

I watched the game again last night just for fun, and kept noticing Garza was playing pretty well. He even had a heck of a block for Forte's rushing TD. I'm glad he's back this year. Do you figure it's Kromer who's resurrected his play, or is it having better OL guards next to him? Whatever it is, it sure is good to see him having a good year.

The rookie OL guys struggle at times, but also have incredibly good plays mixed in too. I expect this is what we'll see from them all season as they transition their game to the NFL level. I think they'll be studs next season, due to getting all of this playing time with Kromer coaching them.

I think it's a mix of both. There is no doubt that having good teammates next to you will make you look and play better. Slauson and Long is so much of an upgrade over Louis and Rachel and because our new guards can hold their own much better last season's Garza will be more "free" so to say.

Kromer also seems to be the real deal unlike Tice, no more pixie dust just pure coaching. Ofcause a new scheme helps aswell.

    On Garza:
It is the group. It is the consistency/coherence. Gives me hope when thinking about the defensive line.

    On the Stats:
Brittin's 22 snaps caught my eye, considering the starting five linemen didn't miss a play. Guess I need to pay more attention.

    77 > 55 and 0 < 1 that's some mad math.

What I don't get and I'm not a PFF head. Seems like the stats were adjusted.
    for example:
41 or 42 pass attempts (McCown)
24 or 26 run attempts (Forte)
    2 or 1 sack (Peppers)
and tackles are always subjective... but I don't get the totals given.

I don't take stats that seriously, but it gives a decent tool to evaluate.

Brittin's snap come as the blocking TE.... he reports as an eligible receiver each time.

Yeah, that part I got. What I did not realize was he was out there 29% of the time with DaBU being at 82%.
I couldn't really call out Rosario on the blocked punt because I don't know the responsibilities but I saw what it looked like. The MNF crew even broke it down for us... Perhaps there is a reason Dante was at 10%.
