Well, we definitely are not sitting on our hands. Even though we are strong at WR, I like that we continue to look and see if there is someone that can come in and make our WR corps even better. JA.... are you watching how a real GM works his craft?

The Bears have been awarded wide receiver Josh Bellamy on waivers from Washington, the NFL disclosed in its Tuesday transactions.
The Redskins waived the 24-year-old Bellamy on Monday. He played in five games for Washington in 2013, recording two special teams tackles. The Redskins signed him from their practice squad to the roster on November 26.
The 6-foot, 206-pound Bellamy first entered the NFL with the Chiefs, signing as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2012. As a rookie, he appeared in three games for Kansas City, making two tackles and returning five kickoffs for 101 yards.
The Bears now have eight receivers on the roster, with Bellamy, Domenik Hixon, Terrence Toliver, Eric Weems, Chris Williams and Marquess Wilson the reserve options behind Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall.

Did Weems take that paycut after all or why the hell is he still on the team?

Weems will be gone most likely during the first round of cuts during camp.

Out of all the new reserves, does Marquess WIlson have the best shot to replace Bennett? Hope I spelled his last name right.

I'm excited about the 6'5" Terrence Toliver from LSU. He is fast for a big man (4.52 40yd) and has good hands. But he was brought in as a project to see if he could be developed into something special. This will probably be his make or break year with the Bears.
