I think there will be a divided, or smaller Ukraine. We're not hopping in against the Russians.

Ruskies have been re-arming for past 5 years, they aren't as toothless as you might expect.

anyway, you're right, no way US get involved, Obama is getting played AGAIN by Putin though, just like he did over Syria.

There's no reason for this outcome other than the money behind putin's loyalist money grabbers still remaining behind to fight the terrible remaining Cold War.

Russia may have a lot of old ships, but that doesn't mean they don't work.

This is in their back yard. So we are powerless. We just don't have the forces considering our downsizing. We will soon be in a whole world of hurt.

We will be transitioning from the sidelines, ready to take the field to a parent in the stands helpless as they watch the players on field.

We will be watchers, not players shortly. It's kind of scary!

Lastly, we are TOO scared we will be considered a bully, so our military's moto is "We will take the first punch". Hell, when I just left the Gulf, I swear the Iranians slapped a bumper sticker on the back of our ship they got so close. We just watched them. Our Captain wouldn't allow us to aim anything at them, obviously our guns weren't loaded or ready to respond.

The diffrence this time is NATO troops will have battle hardened troops, not under trained ,under equipt UN troops. American , british and canadian troops all have been in the field these past 12 yrs. And even the new troops will be trained by soildiers that have been in combat. IMO
