oh, the Giants were throwing blitz after blitz, that might be a sign of a desparate team trying to win but the Bears worked that out.
Its weird to see a team that won the Superbowl not long ago not even favored to win it blew the opponent out, now winless at this point.
sorry bout that Giants, try again, but GO BEARS!

and BTW, I'll give the game ball to the defense, they did stop some key plays and got a score.

Agree. The O is definitely much better and has better weapons but T's play calling still isn't impressing me.

Jay deserves it, but I voted for Marshall. It was the pair of shoes TDs.

Eli Manning because he secured the win even though Jay Cutler played a great game again. If you listen to the announcers Eli is never at fault for his horrible play.

That first series had me yelling at the TV. Take the 3 points. It turned out OK with the pick 6, but that doesn't make it any better. While in Montreal Trestman gave away a game or two in his Montreal career with a questionable, risky play call. Sometimes he may be too clever by half. He also has to remember that he doesn't have a short yardage QB now, nor a yard off the ball.

On the flip side, according to Cutler and Trestman, they're still working with a limited playbook while the O learns it.

I actually liked the 4th and 2 going for it, Cutler threw the ball a little late and behind Marshal or that an easy first down, and maybe a TD; follow that up w/a pick 6 by Eli and the game is 14-0 in the 1st and the tone of that game is set.
Didn't work out that way, and the O started to struggle in the 2nd half, but at least the team started fast for once.

Wait, you can "agree" with a post? How the hell do you do that? All I'm seeing is "like" and "dislike".

Anyway, I forgot about going for it on 4th. It's good to trust your O line on 4th and short, but this wasn't really trusting them because it wasn't that short and we didn't run. It was unncessarily risky, and this is the second or third time this year Trestman has gone for it when he shouldn't have. As the clock ticked down from about 10 minutes left in the game, I kept thinking how different it would be if the Bears had that FG, putting them up by 9 points. The defense was doing nothing at the end, and if Eli doesn't overthrow that receiver, I think the Giants would have scored and won. I appreciate the desire to go for the jugular early, especially after a turnover, but You've GOT to take the points early.

I think it was another poor game for Trestman, or at least a poor start playcalling-wise. I hope he is using this to get re-acclimated to the NFL and can adjust his playcalling, which is something our offense hasn't been able to do since, umm, probably ever.
