And, apparently, Stuart Scott is in the middle of a sex change.

no, but I think Chris might have been. Strange because before the game, I heard him say he was taking Chicago.

I don't doubt it. It wouldn't surprise me. Berman takes the underdog often.

    "Cris" is Cris Carter.

ahhh. yes, I forgot about Carter. Yeah... can't explain it, but that's what I thought I heard him say before the game started. I was surprised.

I was going to go with the ground that help take Rodgers out.

How about some props for Tucker getting away from Cover 2 as soon as Wallace came in the game. The safeties at times looked lost, but I thought that he generally had people in the right places to make plays. I also thought the D started to improve on stopping the run as the game wore on (that 9 minute drive helped too, obviously). GB's D was gassed on that drive, sorta like the Bear's D in previous games.

I voted for McCown for a smart, gusty, mistake-free performance but there needs to be an honorable mention to the OL. It's was outstanding in pass pro and actually opened holes in the running game in the second half.

Honestly, without Peppers and McClellin, there's no way this team wins.

The game ball goes to McCown, even though a very close second goes to Trestman. Even though Trestman masterminded the plays, McCown had to execute.

I don't want to ruffle feathers but the McClellin tackle was fate and or luck. Total butterfly effect. Anyone that tackled Rodgers would have the same odds to injure him. Even though that leveled the playing field, it wasn't like McClellin was a robotic terminator and he premeditated the hit to injure him.

This leads me to the defense... Our defense would look GREAT against pop warner football team as well. Lacey embarrassed the D plain and simple. He broke tackles on almost every play. Conte did his famous "falls down on every play" schtick. And NO, Conte didn't block a pass in the endzone, the replay shows he was no where near it. Major Wright was major wrong. And think about it, if Rodgers was playing, that ONE man, would have most likely anhilated our entire defense. So if you want to crown their asses, then crown them, but I don't think a NFL level defense should be rewarded for barely being able hold a second string QB while letting one RB run right over them. ST isn't any better! They fell for an onside kick that lead to a score. They also failed by allowing a blocked punt.

The OFFENSE gets a notable mention because they are a 180 from last year. They were playing GBs game starting defense and was able to score. However McCown was the MVP just because he stepped up (with Trestman's help)..
