Bears snatch victory from the jaws if defeat!
Let the discussion begin!
Post game analysis. We eventually prevailed in a total shitstorm, nightmare game that we should have won handedly.
The confidence to keep coming back is great. The team was way too sloppy with the turn-overs, penalties, and extra men on the field. Great to win, but we still need to get better.
Post game analysis: win the games before the 4th quarter.
a very active game on both sides, the early Viking kickoff return should have been stopped, but this shows the bears can recover from fallacy, it was Bears ownership on the last plays having the ball with the time running out and the game on the line. Bears did an important thing in keeping Vikings on Field goals instead of touchdowns, and that was key.
An entertaining back and forth game with the Bears getting the nod. GO BEARS!
1. Great to start the season at 2-0, and all alone in 1st place in the NFC-N. This team will get stronger as the season progresses. This is just a beginning.
2. Great to have a team that can gut out a come-from-behind win. This will pay off bigtime later in the season, and in the playoffs.
3. We've all said that it will take time to adjust to the new players, schemes, coaches etc. How cool it is to be winning as the team is getting everything sorted out. You can see a glimpse of how powerful this team will ultimately be. By the bye week, this should be a team hitting on all cylinders.
Clearly outperformed Minny in first half, yet missed out on a couple of plays and ended up struggling. Second half was reverse. We gave up the big plays.
Still, I had some confidence when we got the ball on the last drive. We were going to score or throw an interception. The fact that we scored means a lot to the team.
yeah baby, we got a win dont care bout anything else!
Number of sacks given up today: 1. (Jays fault).
OL has only given up 1 sack in 2 games, playing the Bengals and the Vikes. bet none of you saw THAT coming.
I can agree, but as you know the game aint over till its over, this game went to the final seconds.
Bears coulda kicked another field goal and add another nail to the coffin, but 1 point win is a WIN!
85 Bears you could say that a lot more often. Just remember any lead is not safe and you can say that for the Vikings as the bears did them BAD.
I never saw this under Lovie..
Really impressive numbers. So nice to finally have a real oline. :-)
And the one sack they gave up, REALLY was Jay's fault...it was that one where he was out of pocket, sacked by Allen, fumbled the ball, TD.
So technically, the OL hasnt given up a sack yet.
Cutler is showing he's a solid come-from-behind, clutch QB. I loved that. In big games this is priceless.
Defense: Kinda crappy
F*cks given: 0
Weird one.......out-played them by 2 tds, yet deserved to lose and then won.
Sloppy, ugly, bad football. That might've been the only team in the league that this effort would've beaten.
Agreed........really feels great to have a legit offense where we can score points in clutch situations and not really needing to depend on the defense to bail us out like we did under lovie and company etc...
I drank all my beer before the 4th quarter!!
I don't think my heart can take this ...
M. Bennett +1
M. Forte +1
J. Cutler +1
I gotta throw my 2 cents on this, and I'm sure you'll agree. Cutler actually played well in the 4th quarter last year, but I personally think it was because he was relying on talent vs any coaching or any scheme drawn up. He screwed up a few times this game, but that could be expected in this type of weather. It looks like we have a coach that can plan for these type of situations now, which makes all the difference. Plus not having to throw to Kellen Davis, lol
