Hi everyone checking in from California.

I became a Bears fan during the 85 season at the age of 9.

I go to any Bears game when they come to Cali. This Oct 19th I'll be in Chicago for my first time and will be attending the game vs the Dolphins.

I'm so excited to finally see a game at Soldier Field. We are gonna stay somewhere downtown to see all the sites. How close is Soldier Field to Downtown?

    Thanks Scott

    Welcome to the board, Scott!

Soldier Field is located about 2 miles south of the Loop. I recommend you staying at the Hilton at 720 South Michigan Ave.

    Glad you found us!

I went a few years back and met up with a couple of folks from the site. While I recognize the potential for "weird" in meeting someone via internet (this ISN'T match.com), the folks I met I got to know fairly well from here. I just arranged to have lunch or meet for a beer, but it made the trip that much better. But, I also ended up tailgating with a few people and THAT was FUN.

DaBears.com was founded in 1996. In 2005 it was created into a site for the fans of the Chicago Bears. We have become the biggest fan websites with over 10,000 members and climbing! We reformatted the site in 2013, to it's current layout. We are NOT Affiliated with the NFL, or Chicago Bears. We are a website of hardcore fans! Thanks for checking us out and come back often. We are the voice of Bears fans!

The publisher works very hard to make sure the community is running the best software, best designs, and all the other bells and whistles. We have a pretty robust server, and more comes out of my pocket than you would imagine. Care to buy us a beer? We'd really appreciate it! After all, belonging to this is awesome, and it's free! I'm glad to foot the bill, but I do appreciate any help to keep the lights on. Become a Super Fan!
