Per 670 The Score - Bears DT Nate Collins out for the season with an ACL tear.
The Bears already shitty DL takes another hit
FML I think I'm going to stop wondering how much worse it can get.
Next man up !
When it rains, it pours.
Richard Seymour, we'll be calling.
I wonder if Minter will finally get chance to play? The rookie class has been good so far why stop now.
I think you'll find Anthony Adams at a pizza bar.
It just went from "bad" to "worse" ....
Would love to have him but I think there is no cap room given that it would require more than the Vet minimum to bring him on board.
He's doing a TV show "Inside the Bears". With co-host Lindsay Petruny. If I was him, I wouldn't come back from that.
Thanks. Sorry about that.
I respectfully disagree. Seymour is out of the game right now. He still thinks he can play, so he would be more inclined to sign an incentive laden contract. Further, he will only get to play 69% of the season, so cap hit isn't so bad. We have a couple of million of cap space, IIRC, after restructuring Peppers contract.
smh, inj's on the DL are going to ruin an already questionable DL.
And I fail to see any real alternative other than a trade where we would get merked on value. Hopefully, Emery was talking to his agent last night.
With our DTs blowing up, starting to look like a Spinal Tap search...
I hope you are correct. Depends on just how bad he wants to play again.
Seymour doesn't have to play & is willing to wait till teams are desperate enough to pay him. Also wants to go to a contender.
Don't see us willing to overpay nor being a contender in Seymour's eyes.
