And what's with Bush? He's knocking down some pretty good money for a guy who can't play. Hope he's gone next year.

Rams averaged 8.9 yards per carry. If we don't get a lot better on run defense, nothing can save us. That's becoming even worse than pass rush.

Seems to always happen that way. Bears find a solid RB to be the back up to Forte and they always go to crap when they get here.

    I cannot understand it

    8.9 YPC. :-(

It makes me sick to see the Bears with a defense this bad.

You would have to go back quite some time to find a Bears defensive line that is this bad.

I agree 100%............. From the first games we played this season the defense has sucked. Especially Peppers and Conte. Even Briggs wasn't great and he is no Urlacher when it comes to play calling. Tucker has the Lovie blank stare of death, not to mention he wasn't great t Jacksonville.

I keep saying it is the loss of HotRod and BU. Even though BU would be injured by now he was a driving force on D. I know HotRod isn't great at Dallas, but he worked well with our defense.

Give Ford a chance. I'd bench Bush. He has no hands as a receiver and is setting a new record for highest percentage of runs that end in a loss or no gain. A definite cut this offseason IMO.

He's been garbage all year, BiH. I think he had 2 or 3 nice plays vs Green Bay but otherwise he's been crap all year.

yeah, this year he has, but I really liked him before this year. I thought he added another dimension and he was really good at short yardage. I just don't know how he got so bad.

This team is completely un-watchable. I know we have some nice quality players on offense. However as I said before... watching your defense get gassed over and over again is demoralizing for the team and for the fan watching. I can deal with a bad offense when the defense is good because you know the defense will keep you in it to have a chance. This is the worst Chicago Bears defense I have ever seen... And I have seen some bad Bears teams back in the 90's... Mel tucker has absolutely no balls...! Lovey Smith must be getting a good chuckle...

The defense is depressing. I see stats after the game such as BMarsh - 117 yards, 1TD, and look at Alshon's numbers this year and it's like I don't even remembering them gaining so many yards. The defense is THIS BAD that it takes any memory of the improvement of the offense for me. It's embarrassing. Any UDFA off the street puts up record numbers against us week after week. So sad.......

Put Bush and Ford in at the beginning of the game to get them warmed up.

On the road, especially in a dome you take the points period. You just can't afford to take your opening position of the 2nd half down the field & come up empty. Especially when a FG makes it a one possession game, quiets the crowd & gives you some momentum. Terrible decision IMHO. It probably wouldn't have made any difference due to our historically bad defense but still a bad decision & bad play call as well.
