OF COURSE he was soul
THAT may very well be the scenario that takes place in order to keep him here for the long haul ... For all this to happen to him and with Trestman supposedly being so high on him ,...who's to say both Edward's and Palmer haven't impressed the whisperer ,... and McCown may be shown the door after Thursday night's game ,...
Because frankly ,... Im not liking what I see in McCown and I don't see him having to go in for Cutty and WIN ONE
Kids smart and has potential so maybe he can resign down the road . I know he wants to be a Bear. We'll see what happens.
Don't forget your man crush on Blanchard, but now it seems it has cooled down since he got cut.
ahhhh so the wind does have an effect ,.... ahuh ,....
nothing that should garner much attention. I like Blanchard but he isn't going to be our future
No mancrush on Blanchard, just a better option then McCown; and it's shame he got cut b/c of inj; if only it had happened to your "vet" mccown the Bears would be in a better place.
That's what I'll have to hang my hat on regarding this move. He wants to be a Bear, so he might be available later.
I had hopes for him a la Kurt Warner. OK, maybe dreams, but still.
Ugh, that just brought up unpleasant memories:
Didn't sign Kurt Warner because of a spider bite
Didn't draft Randy Moss because he overslept
For some ungodly reason, Angelo almost signed, but ultimately didn't get Wes Welker.
Don't count on that happening. I do think even if Cutler is 100% healthy that McCown could see some minor mop-up duty aka blowouts.
Angelo was too busy trying to find Special Team Safties for Lovie that's why.
And in Jerry Angelo's defense. he was busy blowing 1st round draft picks on deadbeat bums and busts. It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it.
Angelos 1st round busts ... it shouldn't be funny but it is
signed by Panthers
well someone was, he has tried out at a few places, and why not PS him, no reason to take up a spot unless there's a need.
