Oddly enough lies with the Packers.

Currently, the Lions lead the division 6-3
    Bears and Packers are 5-4
    Vikings.... dead in the water

Without Rodgers, the packers are pretty screwed. They may not win another game. Talking to a packer fan friend of mine, they expect him back in two more weeks.

The pack should go 1-1 in those two games (Giants and Vikings).
Bears have Ravens and Rams.... could easily go 2-0.
Sadly Lions have Steelers and Buccaneers. Should go 2-0

In my opinion, in two weeks the standings will be
    Lions 8-3
    Bears 7-4
Packers 6-5 (hopefully 5-6, but the vikes are that bad)

In two weeks, Packers play the Lions, Bears play the Vikings. If Rodgers is back, packers should win.

    Standings
    Lions 8-4
    Bears 8-4
Packers 7-5 (hopefully 6-6... holding out hope the packers lose to the Vikes)

    Last four weeks
    Lions: Eagles, Ravens, Giants, Vikings
    Bears: Cowboys, Browns, Eagles, Packers
    Packers: Falcons, Cowboys, Steelers, Bears

We may have to root for the packers against the Lions.

I think you mean the Rams not the Loins in two weeks.

We are 5-4 with these games remaining:
Baltimore (We should win, but it's not a "given"....they have lost some very close games, but have beaten a few good teams too)
    @ St. Louis (win)
@ Minnesota (They can be pretty good in the roller-dome.....we should beat them, but could go either way in that hell hole dome)
Dallas (could go either way. We should beat them, but could go either way)
    @ Cleveland (probably a loss)
    @ Philadelphia (loss)
    Green Bay (loss)

So we could end up (best case) 9-7. And (worst case) 6-10. More than likely we'll just be in the middle somewhere - like a 7 or 8 win season.

JABF -- I think both Cleveland and Philly could also go both ways. Philly goes hot and cold. Browns are just better than average. Just about our speed!

You do realize we get Briggs back possibly by Dallas and Ratliff. All we need is a serviceable D and guess what it wasn't D that lost this last game for us. So I am always the optimist and see us actually getting better barring any more injuries. Which the way this season is going I'm expecting my phone to ring shortly because I'm sure the towel boy is hurting big time by now and needs to be replaced.

Dallas is an explosive team one week and terrible the next, they are still in the hunt for thier division.
Browns are a much better team than most expect, QB play is in the same position as the vikes.
St. Louis just layed it on a very good Indy team.
Ravens are week to week, the key in that game is getting to Joe
Vikes at home aare tougher than on the road.
Eagles are playing much better ball and they are competing with Dallas for the division.
Greenbay should have Rogers back by the last game.

I can honestly see a 3-4 finish over the last 7 games. Wins -Ravens, Vikes and St. Louis

You make a great point, and I'm not sure how it will all unfold. If nothing else, I want to see the team fighting and playing hard (as they have) and that's all you can hope for at this point. They won't quit. We have an outstanding locker room that will keep the guys on track no matter how bad the injury situation gets. I grouch about Lovie but I do credit him with having outstanding high-character guys leading the locker room. After the mess in Miami, I have reflected back on the fact we do have some good players who can help the younger guys get through a tough season like this.

Any of the 3 have a shot of winning the division, but Green Bay is probably too down and out to win it. As bad as our injuries are, they don't compare to GB, who has the most players injured this season.

For any team but GB, I'd write them off. But Green Bay, seems to overcome bad injury years & perform well anyway. They usually have better depth than most teams (they lose a Hall of Fame QB in Favre & just reload with another Hall of Fame QB in Rodgers), and the coaching is solid. So consequently I usually assume they'll perform well, even they have a horrendous run of injuries. Watch what they do this season. They'll finish either as the division champions, or at worst, in 2nd place.

IF both the Bears and Lions are unable to capitalize on Rodgers' absence. As bad as the Lions are, and how banged up the Bears are, I don't see Matt Flynn winning them any games(dude's been cut from 3 teams in one year, and only got signed back to the Packers because of an injury to the starter and backup), and Eddy Lacy can't carry them with as bad as the D is.

St. Lou is gonna be tougher than we think. They have really been inconsistent (especially the offense) since week 1 but explain to me how they wiped out the Colts on Sunday?

    Where did this come from?
