I suppose JJ was brought in to simulate read-option for practice. But I would have liked to have seen Matt Scott or Tyler Wilson instead as a project QB.

Unga....wtf? Is this guy anything special on STs? If so, I haven't seen it. Allen, if he had eligibility, would be better. He was good enough to make the regular team and got hosed by an ill-timed injury. He's a decent ball player. Be a shame if we can't hand onto Tolliver too.

I think Unga is going to make a long career about being in the NFL without actually appearing in a regular season game.

I still can't figure out why Tolliver didn't get a spot.

We are still developing Unga to play whatever the hell position he plays. No room for a wide receiver that looked good this preseason.

I agree, if Unga was worth a damn he'd be the teams FB by now. I liked what I saw out of Tolliver far more then that of Unga

no but I heard the 8th was a OT, named Jamaal Johnson-Webb.

You cannot get rid of J-Webb Nation.

The Chicago Bears have signed seven players to the team's practice squad. The club still has one spot on the practice squad still available.

    LB Jerry Franklin
    CB Demontre Hurst
    QB Jerrod Johnson
    WR Ricardo Lockette
    TE Fendi Onobun
    FB Harvey Unga
    DE Aston Whiteside
