this was already done, and the 8th was an OT named Jaamal Johnson-Webb.

I could be completely wrong on this, but isn't there a rule whereby a team with only 2 QBs on their regular roster can keep a 3rd on the PS without him counting against the 8-man limit?

Count me as very surprised Emery didn't sign Tolliver to the PS (over Unga). And with Whiteside, Washington, and now Bass, we are way heavier at reserve DE than DT.

JT Thomas has already been claimed by the Jags, he's a goner. Never made it through waivers which is no surprise since he's a decent player. I suppose they're looking at Franklin (who we kept on the PS instead) as a future backup MLB behind Bostic. I doubt DJ Williams is here for more than this season only if Bostic sews up the starting job for the future as expected.

Yeah, I don't get letting Tolliver go and not trying to PS him over someone like Unga. FB is not a high priority position and there are always guys available to fill that role, if a team even carries one, for pretty cheap. Decent WR prospects seem harder to come by than FBs without using a draft pick.

I felt the same way. I was hoping Tolliver was going to land on the PS.

We need to give him #73. That way all the J-Webb nation fans will still have a functioning jersey.
