And yet, if seems like Emery has laid it out like that in within a healthy, respectable environment where everyone understands. I think the players respect that.

Definitely. I mean these guys aren't stupid, they can see that he's building a team that can win championships.. that's gotta be attractive to them. He's bringing in players who can contribute and he doesn't take kindly to gaffin off. I love how Trestman conducts his business, I think he's put together a great locker room that truly are here to help each other win a championship. I think this team knows that these guys mean business and when you see your GM puttin in these kind of hours and effort and same with your head coach I imagine you can't help but want to work harder for these guys.

The best Conte I ever liked was Richard Conte ... AKA : Don Barzini in "The Godfather."

And we all know what happened to HIM.

man I so tried to make it up there for that too. Would have loved to see that first season of Camp Trestman. I heard about camp lovie dovie, and it would have been nice to see these guys scrambling to get used to a pace forcing them to handle the stress so that they could get used to the season.

Yup, that drive is a long haul. Mine was actually northern Michigan to Texas, so a bit longer.. but Illinois to Texas ain't no joke.

ya we drive from SA to the IN/Mich boarder every year at least once to see family...that drive sucks balls. We've done it straight through so the kids could sleep through the night and we've done it where we cut it in half.

I honestly cannot imagine trying texas to Mich, not even central.

I do like San Antonio, it's got a great economy, great food and the people are pretty damn nice too. Tons of Bears fans down here.

Yeah it's like 1400+ miles and 20+ hours from my hometown to Houston area. I've always heard good things about San Antonio, I'd love to be surrounded by Bears fans. It's all fudge Packers and Detroit Kittens fans around here.
