    He's a bit undersized but I like is upside. He or Michael Johnson would ba a nice addition.

    Not completely true, Bass wasn't released he was on their practice squad. And everyone I hear talking about Houston is that they don't understand WHY they don't want him back, he was one of their best D players.

    This is precisely how the good teams do it.

    Fill spots with multiple lower tier guys and hit your home runs in the draft. Houston would be a perfect start to that.

    When was the last time you saw a team that tried to hit home runs in free agency make it to/win the Super Bowl? That's right you didn't.

    Houston instead of a "pass rusher" is the next thing Emery likes to tout "versatile". He's your can play all along the line guy.

    When you compare him to Peppers or Michael Johnson (both at 6'7''), yes he's undersized.

    He's shorter, he's not undersized. For what it's worth, Peppers is 285 and Johnson is 270...they are undersized in comparison to Houston who is 300. The average height for NFL defensive ends is 6'4'' I believe. When you say undersized I think weight and height combined.

    Bass was released he was a 7th round pick last year and didnt make there roster they released him hoping to sign him to there practice squad but the bears claimed him off of waivers
