Good player, but his contract was an albatross. One by one, Lovie's guys are getting gone. Lance Briggs, look around you and take note.

Lance is fine, he's still playing at a high level unlike Pep did last year.

This is how I imagine Urlacher will respond, but this thought is interactive, so play along! Go on youtube and type "Loyalty Rant" when you see all of the videos that are just oozing with entitlement and desperation, you will see how Urlacher is when discussing the Bears.

There was more than a little rust on the chassis when Lance came back from his injury last year. His days are numbered. In fact, if the young guys step up, I could see Briggs not making the team out of training camp.

Pep had been my favorite Bears player until this past season. I can understand players getting old and not being able to play well. That happens to even the best players. But I have no use for players who mail it in and disappear for entire games. The guy was making an obscene amount of money to loaf. I am so thankful he's not coming back.

Agree completely. Got a few really good years out of him, but last year was bad. Peppers is gone, and Salt is moving to LB. The DL is undergoing addition by subtraction.

I don't blame PEP for not wanting to restructure his contract for the third time Pep knows he can rely on the dead money due him, and somebody will give him a two year contract. I blame Angelo for the ridiculous contract and our current salary cap situation.

I wish him all the best! He was a mayor dissapointment last year, but all is forgotten.
At the end I would like to thank our GM for Dead money this season (enough to get us 2 good FA's).

I don't think our current GM signed all the contracts in the past that has given us or dead space now. At least not all of them
