I have a gut feeling it's not going to go so well. But it may be be in 'unexpected' ways; like dropped passes in the end zone or something, not necessarily Jay, just different key mistakes.

The weather can go to our favor. The Bears have already played MN in crappy weather conditions; Sunday may be the same. I don't think NO has played in rain and our great turf. That's the only advantage I see the Bears having after watching the Saints Monday night. They looked like a machine moving it on offense. We have no pass rush and Melton is out. Paea hasn't practiced all week because of 'turf toe'. Jimmy Graham is a beast and Sproles looked better than Bush.

Shit, that would be awesome if we can pull out a win. Beardown

Regarding Jay, this was what Jaws had to say about him in the latest QB rankings on ESPN (Cutler actually moved up a slot from #14 to #13):

When I look at this game the only way I can see a win for the Bears is the "Any given Sunday" argument. I didn't have this game penciled as a "win" in my preseason record estimate, and I still don't.

I know. But I keep thinking that if we DO win, it would say a lot about our new coaches being able to make adjustments mid-season, and to put together a solid game plan against a great opponent.

I am with you. It will be a great display of the coaching staff if we pull it off. I expect Jay to be in top form based on his need for redemption. If they can make some D adjustments to put some pressure on Breese we have a chance.

Right now the Saints look like the 2009 team and now they've got the best TE in the league. Brees is one of the best and most consistent QBs in the NFL, their receivers look scary and Sproles has another spectacular season.

Our defense is horrible. DL is almost nonexistent, LBs can't tackle and our best cornerback is hurt.

Offense must score a lot of points because we cannot win with that defense. Time to step up, Jay.
