    I loved that quote.

One thing I really like about Emery, is how he likes to acquire bigger players, if they have solid football skills too. Angelo/Lovie had a roster of undersized players whom they liked because they had "measureables" that they liked. I'm not just talking about receivers here. An example would be a guy with a fast 40 time, but who was small and couldn't translate the "measureables" into football skills. Emery, on the other hand, tries to get guys who are bigger, who ALSO have solid football skills. Guys who can catch, versus Angelo's guys who are burners but who can't run a route to save their souls, or have stone hands and can't catch a football.

This is just one area, of many, that I really like about Emery. He brought in Brandon Marshall, and added Alshon Jeffery. Even if Shea ends up a bust, I'll personally feel like that first draft was okay (not great, but not a disaster either) due to the fact he brought in a franchise WR, to go with the other franchise WR, B.Marsh.

Another sub plot is Bears have a bench of developing #1 WR Marquess Wilson who has Alshon potential as well. I would like to see him replace Earl in the slot now giving the Bears another tower to throw too.

I've thought the same thing. I'd love to see Marquess Wilson replace Earl next season.

I'm not a big fan of their running back list though...eesh. I do think that hands down, they're the best duo in the league.

If you would have predicted that we would have a top 10 O and the top WR duo in the NFL a few years ago, no one would have believed you.

A few years ago I would have never believed we would go from one of the dumbest NFL football coaches in the league to one of the smartest in the league.
