Man, we really didn't have a pass rush at all. Hopefully they can clean that up. I did like the way the "O' played. Keeping Cutler from getting sacked. Good game and I hope to see the Bears dominate the Vikings next.

10 h. Last Bears coach to begin his career 2-0? Neill Armstrong in 1978 when the team started 3-0 before an eight-game losing streak

    Hope Tresty beats that one.

This is a sign of a well-coached team. Personal fouls are unnecessary and lose games. The rookie understood this, and showed great restraint. Smart decision by Mills.

They should, the only other team that will be a challenge is our rivals, the Packers. Should be fun to watch them, and sit next to my girlfriend, who is a BIG Packers fan....GO BEARS!!! LOL

Mark, do not sleep on either the Vikes or the Lions. The Lions are going to be as tough as ever to try and stop. Bush and Johnson are a wicked 1-2 combo, and they have a couple good TE's to boot, and a goal line back in Bell also. And that isn't even mentioning their DL, which will be another tough matchup.

Vikes O might not be great, but when you have AP you have a shot to win, did you see the poor tackling the Bears displayed yesterday? You do that to AP and he'll have a career day against you.

Bears are good, better then I thought they'd show this early, but Don't sleep on this Div.

I was very interested in the update on Marquess Wilson. It sounds like they are 100% invested in him as a developmental WR. I had forgotten the fact that he is only 20 years old. He's still growing and developing physically at that age.

I think it's telling that they said they want him to add weight though, that's what was being said in PS, so I think he'll be a continued healthy scratch(barring inj) until next year.

That's my take on it too. They worked wonders with Joe Anderson on the PS last year (even though Wilson is on the 53 man roster). I'm hoping they can really develop Wilson too.

And with him being 20 years old, his body will change considerably. He could even (possibly) grow a bit in height at that age. And I liked the fact they are educating these young guys on subjects like nutrition too. It's not just weight training, but more of a holistic approach.

I too think this is a good thing to develop talent early because remember next year we will likely have no Earl Bennett so we are going to need that #3/4 guy. My guess Anderson will become #3 with Wilson hopefully becoming #4.

No doubt. I would definitely want our division to be good with all our teams. Lions will be dangerous as long as Suh is playing dirty...lol

IIRC Peanut has tied Dawkin's record for combined int's/FF's. Next one would break that record.

The whole line needs that. When he got through an entire half without being constantly pressured and sacked you could just see how much more confidence Cutler had and how much better his mechanics were. He was just drilling that ball into his spots like that TD pass to Marshall. The coverage wasn't all that bad but the timing on the route and the throw were perfect. That ball had such a tight spiral it could have busted through a brick wall.

For all the putdowns Cutler has suffered through these past few years if we can keep him clean when the weather on the lakefront turns ugly in November and December we'll all see why he's a great QB in that climate. He throws a beautiful ball.

True but Pep played very little in the preseason and Melton not at all so I don't expect it will be long before they get back on track. On the plus side I thought Paea had one of his best games yet and McClellin showed how if we use him on stunts and twists why he's gonna make some noise this year. If someone doesn't get him tied up immediately he's almost impossible to block once he's in space and he's quick. Damn he's quick.
