This is a pretty cool little feature from ITB. We get to meet still another McCaskey, Brian this time, and Brian takes our ITB "fox" Lyndsay Petruny into the Bears Archive room for a look at some very old Bears memorabilia.

A lot of GSH's personal mementoes, uniforms from the '20, '30, and '40 including Red Granges. Old poster for games, the original Chicago Bears Stock Certificates now almost 100 year old.

It's a pretty cool video and if you get tired of hearing Brian talk and looking at old shit there's always Lyndsay to look at and she's pretty easy on the eyes.

    Enjoy Bears Fans................:dabearz:

The SB trophy should be called The Halas Trophy , and the fact that it's given to the NFC Champ is wrong . It should be the other way around cuz he was a founder , and Lombardi wasn't .

That should all be on display in a museum, not locked up in a freaking closet. Screw the George Lucas museum, build a George Halas museum.

Anyone handling those items should be wearing gloves.

I agree. Lombardi was good, but he was hardly the greatest man in the NFL.

The main reason for the name was that Halas was still alive when they named it the Lombardi Trophy and knowing Halas and his respect for Vince he may even have suggested it. If the situation had been reversed Vince would have probably asked them to name it the Halas Trophy.

The pity of it is that most of those cheeseheads don't even know that and still think Vince Lombardi invented the game of football. Just one more reason to overcome them and put them in their rightful place in this league which has always been right behind the Bears. :lol 027:

I was going to "dislike" this comment because I HATE that the trophy is named after a johnny-come-later cheesehead and not GSH - the founder and main force behind the development of the league for 60 years, but Soul is correct in why the trophy got it's name. It's a misplaced honor that needs to be corrected.
