Goddammit Benjy I dont even know what the f**kin Trestman system is.

Ive heard rumors about it. I however do not know what the f**k it is.

Maybe I'll see it played out on the field.

Probably not until the regular season Jackie. By the way, I think I prefer your "new" monicker, it can be shortened to OJ or OJJ without causing any confusion. Say with JJ-30...

My 2 cents. which is worthless anyway....

    WHAT DO WE HAVE ?

Its a really f**kin simple question ... WHAT the MOTERF**K do we have?

You know what we have ... ?

You can actually name names from the OL without cringing ... thats a first all by itself.

WHOS at TIGHT END ... I have no motherf**kin idea.

I know we paid some motherf**ker from the NYG's to perform.

I know if both are healthy ... our RUNNINGS BACKS can march thru the entire NFL.

But wait ... were not done yet ... at WR ... Ill take A PRO BOWLER any time of the week.

Whoa baby lets just back the f**k up here for a MINUTE ...

Now where the f**k are you going with this JJ ?

Are you in your right mind really saying that THE CHICAGO BEARS are not just another SKUNK TEAM of also rans ?

I'm glad you asked that question ... YES!

What San Francisco saw in development ... the abiliyy to outrun our OLD CHICAGO BEARS and put their ass into a SUPERBOWL.

I'm really done with it being the OLD CHICAGO BEARS and motherf**ker ... so are you.

Now Frisco could turn it around in two years ....

SF turned it around because of 2 very solid QBs, an outstanding OL and running game and a defense that makes lots of plays, similar to the Bears. Oh and one heck of a coach. SF has superior talent at the critical positions, as compared to our team. They traded up to get Kapernick, refusing to sit back and be content with Alex Smith. The Bears seem to get content with their underachieving QBs. Its about time the Bears start following that example and use high picks on QBs.

They also kept Alex Smith at QB as a starter while Kapernick spent a year (and a half) developing. Didn't they (niners) then trade Smith for extra draft picks?

Ya I think they got something for Alex, a 2nd rounder in 2013, and a mid round selection in 2014.

Biggest difference between Cutler and those two qb's, turn overs. They aren't near the talent, but are safer w/the ball. That's what Cutler needs to learn, still.

Ever since Trestman left Montreal our team's been in disarray. Coach Dan Hawkins fired after only 5 games. GM Jim Popp now has HC duties. They signed former Heisman trophy winner Troy Smith to potentially relieve our aging QB. You guys should be fine. A bunch of us will be watching at a restaurant cheering you on. Get that first win out of the way even if it's only pre-season.

Which is exactly what Trestman told EVERYONE he's been emphasizing in practice not matching up plays to a certain defensive front. He wants the quick reads, correct reads, and the ball out quickly.

He knows he's not gonna be able to get Cutler and the rest to run his entire offense in just one year so he's focusing on the lower risk plays and proper execution. That's exactly what the article I posted from Larry Mayer was all about.

I agree with you 100%. Cutler's major flaw isn't his arm, it's his head. His arm gets his head in trouble by getting it to believe he can make any throw any time. That's exactly what Trestman is working to cure.

One report via someone who typically isn't first to report things on the bears. Take it for what it's worth. Now if JD, Mullin, Leda, Jahns, or Mike Wright were to come up with similar sentiments. I'd be more concerned about that. Sources could be someone like Edwin Williams, or someone in a similar situation, who could be upset that this new coach probably won't keep him and he is struggling with schemes and holding a grudge.

Soul, and that's why I believe that Cutler will have his best year, regardless of win/loss or playoffs. And I do believe he'll get a contract extension. But if it doesn't work out, I also believe that they'll move on, I just don't think that will happen.

I'm pretty excited for tonight's game. San Diego's been bit by the injury bug, but I think that their front 7 is still fairly healthy. I think I remember reading that they had multiple stout players on their line, so I want to see how the O-Line matches up.
