No worries. If they use him at CB, they're strapping an old jetpack on 'im. He'll be fast enough. Trestman just worries that he won't be able to make quick cuts with it on. Could end up splatted against the concrete near the 400-level seats :-(

Peanut's been getting burned since game 1. Sure, he was able to create turnovers earlier in the season, but at this point, that was unlikely, anyway. Frey will not ever match Peanut's quality play, but with the way Peanut is this year, it's for the best that we're moving on at this point. At least, if he doesn't return, it's not going to hurt the team anymore than it already has.

I feel ya Evernight, it kills me.

But as we are placing blame, obviously it's all Tuckers fault and he should be fired b/c he sucks, it doesn't matter that he has no legit NFL players compared to the last few years as they are all to old and to hurt, but obviously all these guys forget how to play their scheme over 1 year, as well as how to tackle.

F Tucker, that douchey douche, it's all his fault. If Lovie and Rod are here, Melton doesn't get hurt, Collins doesn't get hurt, Briggs doesn't get hurt, BU is here and obviously he's proven in his advanced age to defy injury so DJ Williams isn't here to get hurt, and Tillman doesn't get hurt either. And Peppers is 100% healthy from day 1.

I choose to believe the earlier post. Soul put the double-hex monkey foot curse on our season for letting Urlacher go.

Bummer. I'd still welcome him back on an incentives based deal to earn a new one the next year.

I'm not giving up on the season yet, but worst case scenario: Detroit makes the playoffs, undeservedly. What does that mean, long term? Detroit keeps a **** head coach, gets kicked out of the first round AND gets the worst pick in the NFCN? I'm fine with that. I still want the Bears to win the division, but there is a silver lining, if the chips keep stacking against us.

The reality is setting in. Just read a quote from Tillman...or Zaidman or whoever.. they said Peanut admits he has potentially played his last season as a Bear. Tillman says, "My whole view and thought process is that I am still a Bear".

I'm finding myself sad just hearing the start of all these conversations..

On a side note, the Bears will find some way to go 8-8, end up in draft purgatory and miss out on any good impact player. Go figure.

Good impact player missed like at 20 and Chris Long? or in the 2nd round like Forte and Jeffery?

The team won't miss out on an impact player, b/c they go out 8-8, and imo I think they can easily win 3 more games, probably closer to 4-5.

Tillman is going to go the special therapy route just like Cutler did and be back in a week and a half. oh wait... that didn't work out so well...
