I was just saying to my girlfriend, if this is a general idea of how our offense is gonna look in the regular season it truly is a great time to be a Bear fan.

Man the guys who should be catching the ball aren't. Great throw and read by Cutler to Bennett and he can't hang on. Don't bitch about not getting the ball if you can't hold it. That two drops!

Jeffery is having a better game than Marshall, glad to see him catching the ball.

I like how Trestman is calling different type plays, we never saw this with Martz or Tice.....VERY refreshing to see.

Also was good to see Isiah Frey get his first NFL INT as a pro.

Someone said we don't have a go-to blocking specialist TE in the other thread, but Maneri has been noticeably dominant in his role tonight, and right there he got downfield pretty well on the botched snap.

    That

That kid has really come on. He's around the ball a lot so he'll get some picks and fumble recoveries. Glad to see it. He's a nice bonus from last years draft.

I like the way Maneri looks in this offense. He's got one job to do and he's doing it. Fiametta has thrown some good blocks tonight too. Gotta have the lunch bucket guys too.

Well that was one hell of a first half. Take away a couple of key drops and that botched snap and we may have had another TD.

Agreed.......he'll be the first pick to take over the CB spot after Tillman or Jennings is gone.

I know right, wished we could have turned one of those drops into a TD.

But still, this is the best first half of Bears pre-season football I've seen in years.
