Great execution. I keep reminding myself though, that this is the Raiders we're playing, and we SHOULD be blowing a crap team like this out. They stink.

It's ok about it being the raiders, as long as the execution is on point that's all that matters........the bears are going wreck shop this season on both sides of the ball.

Yes it is Soul. It's joined in progress so I missed most of the 1st half. I'm not sure if I'll make the rest of the game. It been a long week. Replays again at 4am, eastern, so I'll watch it in it's entirety tomorrow. Enjoy the game bro'.

I agree. Actually, this was the perfect opponent for us at this point of the pre-season (where the 1st team gets the most playing time). They get to beat up a weak team and get their confidence for the regular season. And I credit the Bears for not playing down to the crap level of the Raiders. Often you will see a solid team play down to the level of a poor team and fail to execute sharply and keep good focus. But I credit the Bears for keeping sharp throughout the entire half.

Hey, and NO SACKS for the entire half for the 1's. How cool is THAT??? :)

I'm glad they're giving Hester a lot of touches tonight. This is good for him.

No sooner does Webb come in and he gets a holding call on a key 3rd down completion and it was so f'n obvious.

Weems is looking better than he has in the past. He's had a solid pre-season anyway. He's going to make the team for sure, because he's a great ST's guy who NOW looks halfway decent as a WR too.

Stick a fork in him Soul. He's done. He's a "dead man walking" and won't make the final 8 OL roster. I sure wish some crazy team (Raiders?) would give us something/anything for him.

Maneri looks AT LEAST as good as Spaeth. I understand Spaeth was a respected vet blocker, and may have been a bit harshly criticized for the somewhat steady job he did in that role, but I still blame him for Forte's knee injury.
