They have a much much worse offensive line, though.

True, but when that "weird shit" includes giving up 2 return TDs, 4 turnovers, getting very little pass rush, and allowing a 3rd rate QB like Ponder to put up respectable numbers, then you tend to turn an otherwise easy win (relatively) into a near-loss averted only by last minute heroics. The Bears, despite the opening ko return TD, had that team buried by 14 points in the first half if they hadn't tried to be cute and just pounded the ball in from 1 yard out on 1st and goal instead. Not likely that Ponder could have made that a game in the second half having to pass, just sayin'. I'm stoked we won and opened 2-0 and I'd rather "win ugly" than "lose well" any day but....against a better QB like Brees or Rodgers or Flacco (maybe Stafford too), those mistakes/failures would have cost us even a chance to win.

I just want to see that bad stuff get cleaned up a bit next week against a weak and injured Pittsburgh team before I feel better about facing better offenses like Green Bay and New Orleans who can light you up quick if you give them too many chances.

Ok where was I before last night which got to be blurred late ...
The Steelers running game, Howlings is done for the year,Levon Bell is gimped,Howlings was started when they pulled Redman for lack of production.
That leaves them with Felix Jones and Jonathon Dwyer.
Pouncy is done for. Plaxico is still around but hes gimped also.
Hey we could see a Matt Spaeth sighting ...maybe. Hes gimped.
Emanual Sanders and Antonio Brown are the WRs along with good ol' Jerricho Cotchery.
I think Heath Millers gimped also. As soon as Palamondo collides with one of his own players he should be done.
Did they hire THE BEARS strenghth and conditioning coach from 12 years ago ?
Its at their field and we usually lose ... Im not getting my hopes up.
BUT IF WE PULL THIS OFF...

Don't get me wrong, JJ. Pitt is old, slow, weapon-less, and banged up bad. This is a road game we SHOULD win next Sunday. One we MUST win if this team truly merits consideration among the best of the NFC. Lets just clean up the crap from the last game and we beat the Steelers handily on the road.

Watch for the Bengals to stomp the Steelers tonight. I'm calling at least a 1 point blowout tonight.

    MP68,
Pouncy out is where we have to focus ... Kelvin Beachum starts in his place.
This has to be old fashioned BULL RUSH right into him with our DTs .
At the snap of the ball l Id move LBs in there too. Plant Beachum and you are at Roethlesburger.
Ben then has one of two moves ... hand off to a RB or scramble ... and hes good at that.

Henry as usual you bring up good points. The Steelers will be on the road albeit the next town over.

On the other hand you could drink too much and be youreselves.

What the fuuck is wrong with that babes ?

Just have a good time ... you are not going to be scored on it in the greater things of life.
