There have been a few success stories where teams have drafted basketball players and they turned into solid TE's. The problem though, is that just getting a basketball player doesn't mean the guy can be a solid NFL TE. If that were the case, then every NFL team would just go out and grab the nearest tall basketball player and consider it all good - bring on the Super Bowl. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. I keep telling myself there's a reason why Fendi is on his 6th team in 5 seasons. He seems to me to be the TE version of J'Marcus Webb - a guy with great raw athletic talent, but not a football player. But yes, he has all of the "measurables" except for the ability to catch a football.

He reminds me so much of K.Davis. A guy who can look good in training camp but who folds like a deck chair in game situations. If this is what we wanted then we could have just kept K.Davis.

Well we know Onobun is out there because I've seen him hauling in passes in the OTA vids. They were so enthusiastic about him last year and then he shit himself in preseason that maybe this year they're just keeping a lid on any info about him at all.

Jeezus if they stuck with Kellen Davis for a couple of years they may just as well give Fendi his shot. He can't possibly be that bad can he?

The Classic at some Las Vegas restaurants(ask Jimmors) , an entire Fender Stratocaster guitar served Onobun.

The guitar consists of Pork,Lamb,Beef, and Chicken ... served on a 5 foot long bun.

Served to convention goers in town to lose money at the slots.

(JJ likes the neck himself because thats mostly prime rib) :18 1 205:

Ok that joke fell flat because nobody on this board knows what a Fender Stratocaster is.

Fendi ... Fender ... get it ? Oh never mind.
