    I think he meant to say Lovie's offensive but either misspelled it or he meant Lovie's strategy for winning which was the defense should outscore the offense every game.

    Say what you will about Grossman, but he is a talented QB who is basically a mental midget. I think he is more talented than McCown, but if you have a 5 cent brain it doesn't matter if you are a million dollar talent.

    Do I want Rex back? No. Could we do worse? Much worse.

    Grossman is much better and more talented than McCown. People that wanted McCown back shouldn't be opposed to the idea of signing Rex.

    Lil B, Rex is AWFUL. Did you see him play backup in Houston and DC? It's embarassing as a Bears fan to think he was the starter watching it.

    So was McCown before Trestman turning around his career. Just sayin.

    Let's be honest for a second. Rex is more mobile, has better arm strength and has more experience as starting QB.

    Is he the best backup QB? No, but McCown is worse and we didn't have a problem with him stepping in last season.

    true, Rex isn't more mobile, not anymore he's not.
    He does havebetter arm strength, but cannot see over the line so it's moot
    He does have starting experience, and most of it not good
    McCown was also capable of playng into the system w/pro bowlers surrounding him and wasn't scared. Rex is still pissing his pants when there is pressure, still throwing it into the ground or into the other teams hands instead of throwing it away.
