I'm sure he showed some promise with the Bears too or they wouldn't have kept him around.......hmmmm, or given the basic talent of our QBs maybe they would have. I think we were still in the Ditka's "QBs aren't that important mode". Sure Coach, not when yoi have a defense that can eat the opposing QB for lunch. But when you don't they do become more important.

As I recall Henry has a pretty good arm but once he got in a game he could be more shell shocked than Rex. Great in practice without pressure but useless when it was there.

It wasn't really until his seventh season (CFL, NFL combined) that he became a legitimate passer. Most of prior success had been via his legs rather than his arm. So the Bears fans never got to see what he could when he finally figured it out.

This guy reminds me a of Hines Ward but much faster. I want to see him returning kicks and maybe the occasional touch on offense as well.

I'm only slamming the real Henry not his DaBears namesake. I just recalled a game against Tampa Bay he started about 10 years ago and it was the absolute worst performance by a Bears QB I have ever seen. Even worse than that turd Rex laid against GB in the New Years Eve game.
