You'd like to think that if a player is not getting a sniff of the field, that there is a good reason for that situation. It would be pretty crazy to keep your best players on the bench (or practice squad).

The situation is bad enough as it is with the existing starters. I'd hate to just throw in the towel for the season and play bad players, just to get them "development" time. Heck, some of those guys may not even be in the NFL a year from now anyway.

That's going to depend on whether or not JA, Tice and Lovie get back into picking players next year

If you are a DE and you can't stop the run or get to the QB, what else is there?

He should have been an OLB from the get go. He'd be good there.

Shea likes to play DE mostly from the ground. Or after being swept 5 yards past the QB. Its the new way to play the position.

The only time I would argue that a better player was on the bench would be after Toe lit it up in 2007, only to be benched until 2009, when he continued playing well.

Funny....Dallas has 3 of 4 DL starters out tonight and is still getting pressure on/sacking a highly mobile QB in RG3. We had a highly immobile QB behind a shit OL on Thursday and barely wrinkled his uniform.

Of course, they do have Hot Rod.
    Hmmmmm...

I really thought they drafted Shea to eventually play ML and I believed all the hand in dirt was BS talk. He is no more design to play DE as Hester is #1 receiver. Just look at his build and athleticism it's what he's built for ML. Watch his previous work in college anything else and you're just wasting the poor kid's time on the line. He could easily be better then Roach at that position.
