Congrats on the much deserved win last night. McCown played out of his mind, much better than I figured he would.

I pretty much knew it was over the second Rodgers went down. Can't even hope hope to win if you're scared to call pass plays. We didn't get it done even with trickery.

Here's hoping for a week 17 game between two much healthier teams. Good luck with the rest of your season.

    Cheers!

Yea McCown played bloody well! Lacy looking strong, will be a trouble maker for us for years if he stays healthy!

Class post Evernight. It was an entertaining game to the very last minute, despite the cast of stars being totally different than what we envisioned weeks ago.

Yeah, thanks Evernight. You're a real class act. If you're too down about Rodgers we have room for you in the Bears fan club...

Thanks, Evernight. Even though both teams had to play their backup QBs, the Bears definitely had the advantage since they had 2 weeks to prep McCown and Wallace was thrown into the fire without warning.

It's funny how the regular season has a funny way of humbling preseason predictions. The Packers OL and running game (Lacy is a star in the making) has been way better than expected. In fact, both OLs played pretty darn well last night...when is the last time these two teams could say that?

Good sport there EN, I had the same feelling you did, then in the 3rd qtr I really thought crap they might just pull this out if the Bears O doesn't stop pooping it's pants real quick. Luckily we just had the more prepared backup, but 2 weeks in preperation will do that for you.

This was certainly a game of back-ups/reserves for both teams on both sides of the ball. It kind of showed in various parts of the game, but both sides kept fighting which showed up on the various lead changes throughout the night. Entertaining game none-the-less.

There was no wager good sir. I recall asking for one last season too but you declined.

Also, had an Urlacher avatar for like.... 2 years? If that didn't bother me, I doubt a Favre in a Viking Jersey one would either. I've been over that for quite awhile.

I hate admitting it, but I was relieved when Aaron Rodgers was injured, and I actually don't hate him to Favre levels (Only Rex Grossman and Peyton Manning come close to that). Hopefully he heals quickly.
