    We? We who?

Of course Cutler wants to come back as early as possible, wouldnt you if you had 100M riding on your performance this season? Every game he misses is money disappearing into the wind.

I'm not sure how realistic that is medically. Probably wishful thinking by Jay knowing that being injured and out hurts his negotiating position for upcoming free agency.

If Cutler comes back too soon, he could do serious damage to his groin muscle, messing it up worse than it was on Sunday.

the most likely scenario is that Cutler tries to return too soon, and plays like s*** because his mechanics are thrown completely out of whack by a groin muscle which has not yet fully-healed.

If McCown plays like he did last Sunday, Trest may tell Cutty put him on shelf and see what plays out. Or maybe he could come back and play defensive back we need more help there since he played it in high school.
