    NIIIIICE SPREAD ! ! !

ESPECIALLY when you have the time and MORE Targets to throw it to,.... TARGETS that will actually catch the ball and run the right routes even
    ;)

Gaaaaaawd what a concept ,.... a working offensive scheme with players and developmental coaches to boot

    ARE WE ALL DREAMING ???

I've stopped missing Greg Olsen. It's nice to have a TE who can catch a football Davis drove me absolutely crazy.

I was never a huge fan of Olsen, but I never believed the found a guy to replace him either. They just way over paid the new BU(black unicorn) to be Olsen, and while he might be a better blocker, he didn't show it on Sunday w/2 holding penalties. I would still love to have Eifert on this team, he looked really good, but I've now bought into Long, he played really damn well against that Bengals DL.

I rather overpaid a TE that can actually catch the god damn ball instead of having none TE to do it. Having a legit TE just adds another dimension to Cutler/the offense which they really never had. We did have Olsen but under a coach that didn't use him corretly.

Zif, I know and agree, but the reality is they let go of Olsen before they even had a TE that could block. Davis was a big bag of suck since before they let Olsen go. He was bigger and blocked worse.

I didn't cry over the Olsen loss, I cried b/c they didn't try and replace him in any shape way or form, not even w/a legit blocker.

Yup, and that 1 TD grab alone was worth it. As far as the holding penalties (and the couple drops), I think that was just nerves 1st game on a new team. I'll bet he'll settle down and be worth every penny we're paying him.
