The depth chart on defense looks pretty scary right now. They've cobbled together a motley crew of guys for depth. Some of the guys still starting on "D" can't play worth squat. But the guys behind them now look like even worse options. We will undoubtedly have more injuries on defense (it's really early in the season at this point). And some of these guys are going to get playing time at some point.

It's really the 180 degree opposite of past years. The offense is NOW going to have to bail out the defense. Good teams will be hanging 35, 4o or even more points on this defense (the good teams like Green Bay......Rogers is probably dreaming of week-9 at Lambeau now).

I think that ship has sailed. I think we will be OK with Bostic, the good thing is that he will get better with each game. But, we need a DT in front of him, bad.

Urlacher back? Ha no thanks. Not after his shit talk. Besides I rather give the playtime to a 2th round rookie like Bostic over Urlacher who was most of all an injurie prone the last two years..

I actually kind of hope they hold Paea and Peanut out again against the Redskins. I think it might be the best thing to let them get completely healthy before coming back against GB.

While I don't like losing any player to injury, I actually thought we should have been playing Bostic w/ the 1's anyway. My bet, Bostic makes a BIG (gamechanger) play against the Skins.

I am starting to wonder if there is a conditioning problem or if this is just a string of shitty luck?

Didn't DJ come out when we went into the nickel package? Couldn't they continue to do that?

People mocked Camp Love.... but his teams were relatively healthy, minus those in game injuries that are hard to prevent

Shitty luck. Both knee injuries were non contact things. DJ tried to tackle a bus and broke himself doing it. Shit happens.

If anything it's a lot of vetting depth for next season. Coupled with playing the rooks at least Emery will have even a better idea of roster needs.

Any more season enders and I've got to raise the question of the strength and conditioning coach.

True dat. We shouldnt be this FUCKED UP with injurys though six games.

Heres what ticks me off ... we finally get an OFFENSIVE LINE and the DEFENSIVE LINE disappears.

Arent they all under the same auspices of the same strenghth and conditioning coach?

Or am I missing somthing here ?
