Bears gave up a 5th this yr, a 5th next yr and gained a 7th round pick for Vreen
So we've got two sixths and two sevenths this year and we're missing our fifth next year?
I see the Broncos traded pick 131 and 246 to the Bears for 156 and a 2015 5th
Thats what 670 the Score said
So we still have our fifth this year?
I like it. So now we have (2) 6rd picks & a 7th left today.
No, that was the pick 156
Ahh, okay.. gotcha now. Not a bad trade if they like Vereen. From what sox said sounds like he can be coached up but has potential.
There goes Telvin Smith to the Jags. I was really holding out hope for him until we traded up.. even then was kinda hoping we'd trade up again with our extra picks. Anyone you guys have an eye on for the last two rounds?
Maybe we will use our two 6ths to trade up into the early 6
I'd be very pumped to package some/all of these and jump up to grab one more high value guy. Would be the perfect ending to the draft for me. What we doing? Another S? TE? LB?
kinda bummed, hopefully they want him at LB and will cut him, since they hired ex seahawks Def. Coor. as head coach Gus Bradley, I suspect they have him slotted for SS..
Yeah I'm bummed too, you got me all hyped up on him being our next SS. I can definitely see Bradley thinkin he's got his next Chancellor. If he does get cut and has potential I wouldn't be surprised if Emery scooped him up. Hopefully we get another solid player or two before this draft is over. I'm hoping for a trade up again.
I'm thinking LB & TE. We'll see. Is Jordan Tripp LB Montana still available?
I've been watching and I don't recall seeing his name, but I can't be sure.
Pretty good 4th round. Both guys have the ability to make the final roster and both guys tended to rank higher than where we took them. Good picks this far back. Carey had top college productivity and Vereen has mad athletic skills to work with.
I liked James White a little better as a RB prospect but he didn't last long after we took Carey whereas I thought he'd last at least until the 6th. Looks like the RBs are finally in their zone now and teams are finding them to be good value in these later rounds.
No 5th but two 6ths and two 7ths so four more picks to look for MLB, TE, and maybe a QB but less likely there based on what Emery said.
only one 7th, before trade with broncos we did not have one.

He other older brother Corey plays for the Lions. He played with his younger brother Kendall, who was a freshman at Virginia Tech (in 2013). I thought he was most NFL-ready cornerback I saw on tape. He doesn't move as fast as Justin Gilbert. In run support, he reminds me of (Kansas City Chiefs cornerback) Brandon Flowers when he came out of Virginia Tech. Fuller can play nickel corner on Day 1." -- Mike Mayock Round 2, Pick 19 (51)Ego FergusonDT6'3"315LSU5.4 Pick Analysis: "They signed Jay Ratliff in free agency. Thanks 66, I think he'd be a great 6th rd pick for us.
