Played with the simulator again got several outputs.
I changed the needs inputs to get the following
Originally it kept giving us a Center at pick 51 so I started bumping up 2 dt priority 2 and (m3) mulitple pick priority 3
    upload_2014-4-6_13-28-21.png
did not like cb or s picks.

Made the trade with SF gave up 14 took 30, 56, 77.
    upload_2014-4-6_13-30-58.png

liked that better decided to get a decent mock with no trades and revisit. still no ILB
Since I do not see much value in S position after round 2 I changed the 2 DT pick to a M4. to move up S pick. Went back to standard draft picks
    upload_2014-4-6_13-35-2.png
Liked Bucannon moving up for S. Still not happy with CB and no ILB.
Changed philosophy from DT driven to CB driven dropped DT to pri 3 from 2 with M4, CB priority 2 ss pri 3
    upload_2014-4-6_13-39-29.png
Quarles could replace Hageman for you the Hageman haters butt with Sutton I liked CB and 2 DT, Not sure Loston will be a starter but solid backup much like everyone else we have.
Still not happy with NO MLB so prioritized ILB to priority 3 from pri 4
    upload_2014-4-6_13-46-17.png
Once again Quarles could be substituted for Hageman if you want. Got my ILB still have to wonder if picking a
S is wasting a pick at this stage as we have equal talent on roster.
Decided to bump Safety up SS is now a pri. 2 from a priority 3.
    upload_2014-4-6_13-50-41.png
i liked that Bailey may still add more value than Loston. Quarles vs Hageman, and Prob Bullough over Barrow as barrow more of a 3-4 ILB than MLB.
Since I like my priority in drafting now I had to try the trade with San Francisco one more time.

Looks pretty damn good to me. cb Roby on board for RD 1 pick but Jernigan won out. Next good value came to Baptiste in rd 3.

Just playin with all the optiions. Phil I believe has done a great job and no matter what he does we are going to have a strong draft with all the options. I trust Phil to figure it all out for the Bears.

Its the difference between there big board and the pick position.

And their big board is not what matters on draft day. Keeps them busy at Draftek though.

I understand, but Gilbert is generally looked at as a top 8 pick, how the hell does their big board have him lower then 14?

Every one has a guess. None are right :-)
Emery's might not be right either. Except his counts.

lol draft game, no way in hell this happens but it was funny:
Your score is: 5512 (GRADE: A)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 20 (ARI): Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida (A)
Round 2 Pick 19: Terrence Brooks, FS, Florida State (A-)
Round 3 Pick 20 (ARI): DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State (A)
Round 3 Pick 29 (N.E.): Christian Kirksey, OLB, Iowa (A)
Round 4 Pick 17: Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia (A)
    Round 4 Pick 29 (S.F.): E.J. Gaines, CB, Missouri (A)
Round 5 Pick 16: Isaiah Lewis, SS, Michigan State (A)
Round 6 Pick 7: Avery Williamson, ILB, Kentucky (C+)
Round 6 Pick 15: Joe Don Duncan, TE, Dixie St (A)

Somehow Bortle falls, so the Bears trade out...and he continues to fall, at this point the Bears have to take him, to much value. And they still get legit DB and DL help.

BSB, everyone loves talking about trade down scenarios (which I tend to view with skepticism) but your SF possibility is one I wouldn't mind seeing one bit. And it seems realistic too with the extra picks they have. Normally I'd be reluctant to give up a top-15 choice like we finally have but in return for a total of 5 picks in the top-100, I'd take that deal. Now....who would SF trade up for at 14?

rumor is they want WR Evans to pair with Crabtree, but in simulator they took cb Dennard. Prob works better for us than them but just playin....
