    Jabzz I suspect you're old enough to draw from vivid memory who the STARS were from the 85 team ,... as there was more than ONE FACE to the franchise ,.. These guys are on a fishing expedition

    And quite frankly I feel Trestman's heading down that road ,.. The same road as the 85erz traveled BUT with much better success with more than one face

    Brushci says no Briggs is leader. Maybe that's been the problem for too long the leader has been always on the wrong side of ball. Time for O to step up and take the lead. Just like Trest says it all starts with the QB. Without the QB you end up with a Lovie team spinning wheels in the mud.

    With Urlacher gone, Cutler is now able to put his stamp on things, and step into the role that is occupied by the QB on most teams in the NFL. It was impossible before BU retired, because he was the leader and face of the franchise. Cutler seems to be maturing very well, and hopefully he keeps the nice even keeled approach he is showing now.

    So what's the next thread going to be? Should Cutler be enshrined into the Bears HOF?
