Palmer said he'd keep in shape and be available if needed this season due to injuries. He looked (to me) to be more talented than McCown. For only having 8 days with the Bears, he sure looked sharp last night. Poised, smart & made some really solid throws.

Webb looked like he just gave up after the demotion. He looked like he was just "going through the motions" last night. He was playing against training camp fodder, and should have been dominating them. Instead he struggled.

Webb should open J-Webb bumping both. "Be like Jay for a buck bump J-Webb Nation." I could image how much he would make on Lake Shore.

Damn, I was hoping they would keep him. -_-
As a local kid it would be cool for him to make it to the PS, though.

Am I the only one who's worried about our safeties? With Hardin and Nelson gone, who's our backup safety except Steltz?

twitter is reporting that the Bears will be looking at S's and TE's in the next couple days, do not be fooled that the 53 man roster today or tomorrow will be the final roster according to the twitterverse bears beat guys

    Brittan Golden just released.

Hardin is eligible to be signed to PS.

Ras-I Dowling is a cornerback, not safety. He's injury prone and very inconsistent.

Hopefully Palmer goes to the practice squad and stays there not getting picked up by another team.
