All things I heard about Hardin was that his TC and PS sucked, no real suprise he was cut.
Palmer and edwards cannot goto the PS
Don't get it. He wasn't great but it was good to have him as backup center.
interesting read by the guy talking 670 the score regarding Fendi, who is very new to football and the NFL, Jimmy Graham down in NO still has to be talked to in basketball terms to get him to fully understand what is going on, that should tell you how hard it is to learn the NFL.
twitterverse is saying Tony F and 4 TE's will make the roster, last TE...Fendi ona-roster?
That's a bummer.
Just hope and pray Cutler stays healthy this season, no use of crying over spilled milk about having a 3rd qb on roster.
The idea of McCown ever seeing the field, even for a qtr has me scurred that bum is one of the worst qb's I've ever seen in a Bears uniform.
LB Jerry Franklin released
I really don't know what Trestman and Kromer see in him.
its like lovie and tice with webb hahaha
I agree with you, it's the only thing on the roster that not really resolved and i'm uncomfortable with (the rest of the roster is straight).....The words "McClown" and "game manager" should not be in the same sentence let alone on a football field.
We see other teams with 3 qb's, why do the Bears have to go against the grain and just have 2.
Hopefully Ozougwu doesn't make the final roster.
Bye, bye Jamarcus. They didn't cut Onobun yet (thanks for the pick six)? Wow! I kind of liked Jordan Palmer.
Somewhere a McDonalds is preparing for his coming
T Edwards released
palmer should have stayed, but i think there is something more in the background, maybe he didnt want to be a 3rd string, cos he has a business, and told that to marc... who knows. i think he showed enough. also, i would have kept hardin, but thats only me, i guess everybody else here dont dig him
he showed more against this backups then McClown ever showed in his games vs backups.
From my count, from what Ive read here, we are down to 66 players.
From what I've read, Palmer is safe and won't be signed by another team. He's not a great QB, but as a backup, he's better than McCown. I thought it was classy on his part to say he'd keep in shape and be ready to help us, if the injury bug got us at QB. I figure we're screwed this year if Cutler goes down. We don't really have a solid backup anywhere. It "is what it is" and it's disappointing. I really hope that next year they fix this. Surely we can do better than McCown.
A little bummed about Palmer. Yes, it was against backups, but he looked poised, confident and in control. He looked much better than just about any QB we've had in the last 10 years or so.
