A_M as far as Jay concerned ,... i'm still on the wagon there ,... Jay hasn't had much of any help in the developmental department (NEVER MIND Bates for those who want to bring him up)

THEN we have the O line ,.. And howyabout them bonafide receivers the Bears have had since ' 07 ?? and their lack of developmental fundamental coaching ?
and for those who wanna bring P. Manning or Brady please STOP ! ! !
P Manning/ Brady are to the NFL as was Sweetness was ,.... A GOD

IMHO I feel and believe NO QB could have excelled here and have a banner year with the schlepped O the Bears have since '07. It's been one big debacle

My heart says Play Off's but my head is telling me 8-8 ...new head coach, new system and new Oline all seem to point to a rebuilding year ..

Good post........imagine if Angelo and Lovie and company fixed the O-line and got Cutler help with more receivers
and actually developed the players they drafted, there's no telling what the bears could have accomplished in that time span.

My thoughts on the season are this.

    1. I think we have the arsenal to go 11-5 or 10-6, its just up to the offense to get its shit together, ps cutler throw the ball to someone else besides marshall!
    2. Defense got young fast, showing vast improvements and i see a lot of good guys from this squad
    3. Our schedule is tough but I think a lot of the teams we play are over hyped
    4. This team HAS TO BUY INTO TRESTMAN!

You are right, of course. There is always an exception to every rule and the Packers are that exception. That said, the NFL has existed for over 90 years, and I'll bet there are fewer than a dozen teams in that history that could show a similar level of injury on it's way to a title. I still don't know how they did it, but you have to take your hat off to them. As a result, I should state that my philosophy is only accurate about 99% of the time. :)
