With Jay Cutler out "at least" four weeks, McCown will see some time behind center. Question is how many games will he win?

Figure four weeks is four weeks and not four games, McCown will start at least three games... and we can go from there.

Let's say Cutler will miss 4 weeks (and I'm being optimistic here). Means McCown or Palmer will be our starting QB.

@ GB - Oh boy.... Another humiliation on national tv.
vs. DET - we couldn't win with Jay, McCown/Palmer won't get it done.
vs. BAL - Flacco, Smith and Rice against our defense without Briggs? Again, oh boy.

Next few weeks are goona be really painful to watch. :-(

Here are the games I think Cutler will miss, at most.
One other issue, I'm not sure w/the D as it stands they would win many of these even w/Cutler. So instead of Win's i'm going to say good play:

GB, no win, no good play
DEt, no win, no good play
Balt no win, no good play
    St Louis, win, good play
    Minny, win, no good play
    Dallas, no win, good play

Let's say Cutler misses 8 weeks, b/c life sucks like that sometimes.

    @ GB - no.
    vs. DET - no.
vs. BAL - no. Though the Steelers beat them, and we beat the Steelers. Still, no.
@ STL - yeah, maybe. I'll say yeah.
@ MIN - ehhhh. I will be interested to watch tonight. Right now? Probably not.
    vs. DAL - no.
    @ CLE - yes.

    So, 2 in 7 games, 0 in 3 games.

Ya 2 win's is all I see also, but that's not necessarily on McCown, the D is just that much hot garbage, and now the O cannot even be relied on to take pressure off them.

Ugh. If our defense can get a pulse going, if he continues to play like he did yesterday, we could beat the rest of the NFC east, and the Rams. If the Browns have something figured out at qb, we will lose that game, for sure.

McCown caught them by surprise. The Skins were not expecting him, so they did not game plan for him. He wont do near that good against GB

Same thing for the purpose of this poll

I think the bigger problem is Briggs than Culter being out. Until the D can stop a pee wee team I can't see them winning any at this point and it doesn't matter who you have at QB.

The D has sucked with Briggs. It will suck without him

It sucked worse w/out Briggs. After Briggs went out the Wash O scored 3 TD's, and punted 1x, those 3 drives were all 80+ yards.

Actually someone did a stat after Briggs left the game on D and it was at that point the train wreck really got out of control.

Yea, the D looked worse... but the D has sucked for the first six weeks with Briggs.

It wasn't pretty w/Briggs, but it was FAR WORSE w/out him.

I know what you're saying the D blows but all we needed was 1 stop. IF Briggs was there for that series I believe that would have been the difference. I know it's all speculation and it still doesn't fix the fact the D sucks, I know.

I think the loss of Briggs and Tillman were death knells to this D yesterday, both out there make this team almost respectable, w/out them no team has any fear of the LB's or DB's.
