Possible reunion? DE Israel Idonije will visit the Bears tomorrow. He was with Chicago for nine years (2004-12).

Always liked Izzy, would like to see if he still has any gas left in the tank. Could be a good one year deal while we groom a DT in the draft.

I liked him as well but I'd only consider a one-year/league minimum deal.

If they sign him back it will be for A LOT less money then what the Lions gave him last year, and it will be the 3rd or 4th guy on the field; this screams more about how bad they think CornWash is then anything.

I honestly hope it's a 1 day contract so he can say he retired a Bear in hopes people forget about his embarrassingly bad year in Det.

"A bad year in Detroit" is a bit redundant.

He made vet minimum last year. It is impossible to pay him less than what he made last year.

And they still overpaid for him based on his production.

He wasn't paying attention and thought he'd stop by to say hi to Urlacher.

My thought too. He may not know that Lovie's gone. Did Lovie leave a forwarding address for the old guys who may wander in?

Any year you make it through in Detroit without dying is a good year in Detroit.

He's scheduled for a physical while he's here and that's usually a precursor to an offer which of course will be a vet minimum which will give them a cap break. I'd welcome him back with open arms only when I say that mine really are open. Take a hint Phil. :p

It creates and interesting situation that may give Tucker and option to move Houston inside to play 3 tech DT. Melton is in Dallas today so that's three teams in four days and Dallas was always the most likely landing spot. If he gets an offer Emery has told his agent they'll consider matching it but if he leaves without an offer like Peanut did then he may decide to take whatever the Bears will give him. We should know soon enough.

Worth a look but I'd rather have Wootton > Izzy back if CW gets healthy.

CHICAGO BEARS DEFENSE is so F**KED UP ... that they actually signed Dick Butkus.
For a one year deal at League minimum.

Now why dont we really get on with building a team.

Seattle ... Frisco ... those bastards did it ... in the last two Superbowls.

We belong ahead of them. Im tired of waiting .. and so are you.
