    He won't be signed elsewhere until after he clears waivers. Not suggesting we sign him though.

    False. And even if we did, Freeman is about on the level of Sanchez in the "I want that guy as my backup QB" department.

    Isn't our coach suppose to be some kind of quarterback whisperer? This seems exactly like the kind of situation we might want to think about taking advantage of...

    Just think if he's on the field with Ponder and Webb. They'll have so many lateral/flea flicker/halfback pass options it would be scary.
