Yeah. I thought average was a stretch for him. I pretty much thought he was a guy that at best would only be able to manage the game. Never gave him the benefit of the doubt in terms of being able to win a tough game.

I guess he is our Kaepernick. Unfortunately he is over 30. I still think this is due to Trestman. It is not like we have not seen MCown play previously for the Bears or other teams. He has never lit it up. I can not imagine what Trestman could do with a hand picked young stud QB.

I'm in a "Dan Jiggetts" mood so I'll also give one to the entire offense, # 99 & the long lost #90! Peppers had a game like you expect from him every week. If he keeps playing like he did tonight this defense can keep us in games.

Trestman + Emery. Trest's playcalling and coaching, and Emery's team management that got offensive weapons and an OL. This system is very QB friendly, which bodes well for Trest and Emery, and not so much for Cutler, and to a lesser extent, McCown (They wont pay McCown starter money)

    RIC, WHERE ARE YOU?
You who repeatedly said McCown was not NFL worthy? You were totally wrong. He's played 6 quarters of very solid QB (nearly 500 yards and ZERO picks) and out performed 80% of the league's backups.

Im gladly eating crow saying we would lose 31-13. Never tasted so good :))))

That's just it Jimmors. I don't think they need to. I know he would be MUCH less expensive than almost any other competent starter I can think of.

I never doubted McCown, I doubted our defense would stop Aaron Rodgers.

Who here thinks Benjamin should rub McCowns nuts? lol
