josh was great, with a consistent qb like that and new oline we would go incredibly far last year, maybe even SB

That was one of the few good things about this game today.

    It's an upgrade over Haine.

For the record, the most completions in a regular game is 43. It is 45 if you count overtime (held by different people)

I would say yes. I would take him over Grossman, Orton, and many other starters we've had over the years.

IMO it is like being a 4A Baseball player. Too good for the minors, not good enough for the majors.

He is a great backup, but maybe not a good starter for a long period of games.

    Best backup=tallest midget IMO

True, and I agree. I'm just saying I'd rather have him as our backup than many starters we've had. I'm sure other teams would as well.

I'm just thankful we have him as our #2 QB. For an old has-been QB, he's putting his heart and soul into trying to get us wins right now. The defense should be ashamed. Today should have been a win. The Lions lost today, so it is especially heartbreaking for the defense to let us down like they did today.

Good job, Josh! Looks like you and the offense are the only ones playing with any heart out there( looking at you, Peppers). Hopefully, you won't be on your back so often next week.
