Sorta reminds you of when Seattle paid Flynn $6m to "start".....and then he promptly sucked and lost his job

That Flynn signing was possibly the best thing that happened for Seattle. Let them take a chance on a Russell Wilson while still having a guy that could start while they developed him. Wilson's a better QB than Flynn. What's the guy supposed to do? not take the money and run?

Flynn got 9 million guaranteed from Seattle. Then he got more money from Oakland. Now he's back with GB and 10+ million richer than he'd have gotten if he showed "loyalty" and just accepted league minimum to back up Rodgers.

Trying to figure out where the derision for signing with Lovie is coming from. He's got a 5 million per year deal. I figured he'd get 4 million per, but his agent did a great job.

Who the hell cares where he is playing or who he is playing for? He's got some weapons down there in Jackson and that new RB they have. It's close to his home in Carolina, he's right in the mix to start, he can mentor Glennon which is something the guy likes to do, the weather is great, and Lovie does not run hard camps.

Just trying to figure out how McCown lost by not staying with the Bears.

I guess I will eat crow. I said no one would be dumb enough to pay him more than $3M and guessed it would be $2.5. Looks like I underestimated how dumb the Bucs are.

Seattle won a SB. The year they got Flynn is the year they got Wilson. They did not fail. They succeeded. Lovie can only hope to be as successful as Seattle was when they got Flynn.

Playtime incentive bonus of 1 million and a 3 million bonus if the Bucs make the playoffs. That is tremendous work by his agent. He is possibly on a 2 year 14 million dollar deal.
