And a good scenario on why to be patient in FA and see how it shakes out. No need to get frazzled or in a hurry and overspend. Even some unforseen opportunities can occur if one is patient.

Good for Josh...bad for the Bucs. Hard to get a fan base excited about a journeyman backup. No weapons, brain dead head coach, and and a questionable offensive line. Hell, this year McCown's last name could be Grossman, or Burris, or Quinn.

Lovie could fast track himself out of a job quickly the way things are shaping up in Tampa.

This is unfortunate. Josh served us well and we know it's not a matter of "if" Jay gets hurt but "when". Hopefully we will get a kid in the draft that Trestman can work magic on.

I agree with most of you that what TB payed was too high. Besides, where are all the people that said "he'll finish his career in Chicago"? That was said about a lot of Bears (Hester, Tillman, McCown).

What's more disturbing is Lovie trying to "recreate" the Bears. It borderlines creepy. I hope when we meet, we can show em that there is only on true "Bears" team.

I'll take care of that filthy Katy Perry. Burris can handle the rest.

To be fair, I don;t think they over paid for Verner at all. I think that deal was cheap for a guy who was the best corner on the market.
